5 Spa Services to Do at Home!
While going to a day spa to receive professional massages, body wraps, facials and a variety of other treatments is luxurious, this is not always realistic for our schedules and bank accounts! There are many treatments we can try at home that can soothe muscle aches and pains, reduce stress and soften or cleanse our skin from head to toe! Home care services just involve a few products, a bit of time and some self love. Enjoy!
- Foot Soak and Glow!
Fill a bowl with warm water and epsom salts! Soak your feet for 10 minutes. Apply any sugar scrub to feet and rub. This will exfoliate and soften your skin. Rinse and pat dry and hydrate with any moisturizer! We recommend our Honey Heel Glaze!
- Facial steam bath!
Fill a pot with water. Drop lavender, eucalyptus or any essential oil into the water. Bring water to a boil. Remove pot of water and place onto counter. Hold your face over the steaming pot of water. Place hand towel over your head to keep steam over your face. Inhale and exhale for as long as you like to open sinus, enjoy aromatherapy and cleanse pores. Finish treatment with a facial cleanse, mask and moisturizer! Any of our Naturopathica products will do!
- Tennis Ball Sock Massage!
We use this all the time! Get a long sock. Put a tennis ball in the sock and push down to the toes. Hold sock in place at the top and place ball end under your traps, scapula and back. Now lean against a wall and slowly sink into the tennis ball for an at home deep tissue massage! Call us for more instruction if needed!
- Dry Brushing!
Buy a dry brush from amazon! Increase lymphatic flow and soften skin at the same time. Dry brush arms, legs, back and chest. Move brush towards the heart! You tube has plenty of demos! Click here to see!
