Summer Time in Brookfield
Summer in the lovely village of Brookfield is a fun and exciting time! With so many community events you are sure to never be bored.
Every Saturday June 1-October 12th from 8am-1pm head over to village hall for our award-winning farmer’s market! Live music and a huge range of items. From baked goods to fresh fruit and veggies, clothing or jewelry- there is something for everyone!
On select Friday nights you can enjoy free live music in Kiwanis Park at the bandshell. Bring a blanket, chairs and snacks for a family friendly night. The shows run from 7-8:30pm. A complete list of dates and bands can be found at https://brookfieldil.gov/news_detail_T14_R110.php
The last Saturday of the month running June-September Music on Grand will be rocking the night away! Live music will run from 4pm-10pm. Feel free to bring your own chair and food or support any of the restaurants just steps from the stage.
Fourth of July is a huge event in Brookfield! The parade starts at 10am and runs along Grand Blvd. The Party in the Park runs afterwards from 12:30-5:30 with live music from two bands. Food and beverages will be available for purchase.
On Sunday July 21 from 10am-3pm Brookfield will be running their annual classic car show on Grand Blvd. Over 100 cars are expected to be on display and the cost to attend is free!
Head to downtown Brookfield from 11am-8pm on July 24th to watch up to 1,000 amateur and professional cyclists speed their way through the city streets at the Chicago Grit Cycle Brookfield Criterium ’24. Enjoy local drinks, food, and good friends during this high speed and exciting event!
Tuesday August 6th from 5-7pm Brookfield will host their National Night Out in Elhert park. The event is a celebration of our Police, Fire Fighters and First Responders. There will be food, giveaways, bouncy houses, dunk tank, and games.
Brookfield is proud to host the Fine Arts Festival on Saturday September 28th from 9am-4pm at Kiwanis Park. The event will feature local artists, food and beverages and live music.
